Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is seeking Lumber Taggers / Groundskeepers for its facility operations. This full-time role involves tagging products, stacking lumber, assembling panels, and helping with general site tasks to keep inventory accurate and organized.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, production experience, and lumber familiarity; training will be provided to ensure quality and safety in daily duties across the yard and shop areas.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous production experience preferred.
• Lumber experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Attaches product tag labels to merchandise with a hand-held stapler.
• Stacks and moves lumber pieces.
• Assists in assembling fence panels and other products with a nail gun.
• Checks items for proper identification.
• Reports quality deficiencies, shortages, or damaged goods.
• Keeps inventory records and checks items for proper ID.
• Maintains housekeeping throughout the facility.
• Other duties: painting, striping, trimming grass/weeds, trash bins & hoppers.
