Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, mill, or lumber environment preferred.
• Operate forklift and chainsaw.
• Follow safety procedures when handling saws and tools.
• Manual dexterity for repetitious tasks.
• Read and interpret simple diagrams/blueprints.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and in inclement weather.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Carry out written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Gather materials and read cut sheets to determine amount, size and grade of material to cut.
• Set up machines to ensure accurate cuts and quality products.
• Maintain inventory and equipment servicing schedule.
• Meet daily and weekly production goals as a team.
• Load and unload semi flat beds as part of daily tasks.
• Adhere to safety requirements and report issues to supervisor.
