Qualifications

• Experience with grading lumber to NHLA rules is desirable.
• Able to sit/stand for extended periods and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Familiar with lumber grading tools and basic counting methods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming and outgoing lumber according to NHLA rules.
• Operate and control the Lumber Handling Machine from the grading deck.
• Grade offline with supervision until fully trained to Hartzell standards.
• Maintain tally sheets and report totals to supervisor.
• Follow all safety practices on the grading deck.
