Job summary

Rex Lumber Graceville, LLC is seeking an oilers/maintenance helper to lubricate machinery and perform routine maintenance, ensuring equipment runs smoothly.

In this role, you will follow maintenance schedules, inspect equipment, and report issues to supervisors. You will work as part of the maintenance team, using lubrication equipment and tools, and contribute to safety and efficiency on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must have good physical strength to perform repetitive lifting.
• Able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body.
• Ability to monitor gauges and indicators for correct operation.
• Team player with minimal supervision.
• Strong math and reasoning skills.
• Knowledge of machines and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled.
• Inspect equipment and report defects to millwright/supervisor.
• Examine machinery to verify specified pressures and lubricant flows.
• Clean machines and machine parts, using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment.
• Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified procedures.
• Clean/PM coolant systems
• Participate in the action planning process.
• Track/record time and all repair parts/lubricants using work orders & maintenance management system.
• Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment.
• All other duties assigned by supervisor.
