Job summary

Vista Minerals in Texas is seeking a dedicated Lubrication Technician to support plant and mining operations. You will perform daily lubrication, basic maintenance, and ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently.

You will complete daily lubricant logs, follow OSHA and MSHA regulations, maintain regular attendance, and work hours that align with the company schedule, including occasional overnight or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Maintain regular, reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Perform lubrication tasks on all fixed plant equipment and pumps in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform light maintenance and basic equipment upkeep.
• Replenish grease, lubricants, and other fluids as needed.
• Complete daily lubricant logs and document equipment deficiencies.
• Follow all applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Serve as a positive ambassador for the Company and consistently promote a culture of safety.

Job description

Responsible for the safe and efficient lubrication of plant and support equipment. Performs daily pre-shift inspections, light maintenance, and basic equipment upkeep while following all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, company policies, and safe operating practices for a surface mining operation.

• Perform light maintenance and basic equipment upkeep.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work is performed both inside and outside the processing plant and on the mine site.
• Position requires the ability to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently bends, stops, crouches, and works in various physical positions.
• Overnight and/or weekend work may be required.
