Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to read, write, and fluently use English.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs oil changes and replaces oil filters according to procedures.
• Checks and tops off engine oil and other fluids.
• Replaces light bulbs, fuses, and other minor components.
• Inspects vehicles for safety issues and identifies potential repairs.
• Explains services and repair options in writing to customers.
• Adheres to safety procedures and maintains compliance.
• Delivers customer cars to service stalls and picks up parts as directed.
• Performs maintenance, lubrication, and minor repairs as directed.
• Attends training classes and departmental meetings.
