Responsibilities
  • Perform vehicle service and repairs as assigned by management or their representatives.
  • Follow safety requirements and published procedures during all tasks.
  • Inspect and replenish vehicle fluid levels, check tire pressure, and add air as needed.
  • Use special tools and equipment provided by the service department properly.
  • Participate in technical training and manufacturer-sponsored programs.
  • Complete work efficiently and accurately according to dealership and factory standards.
  • Communicate with service advisors about additional work, unnecessary work, or delays.
  • Keep the work area organized and clean.
  • Return customer vehicles in the same condition as received, clean and presentable.
  • Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards.
  • Strive to meet production objectives set by management.
  • Review technical bulletins and publications as assigned.
  • Assist with warranty repair orders and other administrative tasks.
  • Report safety or operational concerns to management.
  • Use shop supplies economically and document all work performed.
  • Communicate effectively with dealership personnel to meet customer needs.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA standards.
  • Follow all company policies and report any illegal activities.
  • Maintain an acceptable driving record and abstain from substance influence during work hours.
