Job summary
Sonic Automotive, Inc. is hiring a Lube Technician at Lone Star Chevrolet in Houston, TX. You will perform quick service and routine maintenance to keep vehicles in optimal condition, including oil changes and fluid checks, in a busy dealership setting.

Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience as an Express Technician, Lube Technician, or technician helper in an automobile or quick service shop.
- Must have own set of tools (Socket sets, hand tools, impact tools)
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
- Able to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, and credit report.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-offs for customer vehicles.
- Conduct tire inspections, including patching tires and checking air pressure.
- Inspect and replace air and cabin filters as needed.
- Ensure vehicle fluids are at proper levels.
- Perform quick inspections of belts, hoses, and other basic components.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and ensure equipment is working.
