Job summary

Quality Dealerships is seeking a Lube Technician to support our Buick GMC and Mazda service teams in Albuquerque, NM. This entry-to-early career role focuses on oil changes, inspections, and light maintenance—providing a solid foundation and a clear path to become a Line Technician.

You’ll receive hands-on training, OEM learning paths, and a professional shop culture with modern bays, quality equipment, and a clear advancement route to the Main Shop.

Qualifications

• Basic automotive service experience (quick lane, tire/express, or similar) preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn OEM procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in doing the job right the first time.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and fluid services.
• Complete multi-point inspections and document findings accurately.
• Check and set tire pressures; replace cabin/engine air filters and wiper blades.
• Inspect belts, hoses, lights, and basic safety items.
• Maintain a clean bay, follow shop safety standards, and protect customer vehicles.
• Assist advisors/technicians as needed to keep vehicles moving on time.
