Job summary

Gettel Chevrolet Buick GMC in Punta Gorda, FL is seeking a Lube Technician to perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections. The role involves changing oil, checking tire pressures, refilling fluids, and performing basic inspections within a shop environment.

Responsibilities include operating oil and grease guns, lifting up to 50 pounds, and handling related tasks as needed. Previous lube technician experience is preferred and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Previous Lube Technician experience is preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to operate overhead and floor mounted oil and grease guns.
• Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes
• Check tire pressure for proper inflation
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
• Complete vehicle inspection
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
• Other duties that may be assigned around the shop
