Socket.dev in Ponca City, OK is seeking a Lube Technician to join our growing team. You will apply lubricants to engine parts, inspect for leaks, and complete routine maintenance to keep vehicles performing at their best.

Responsibilities include tire rotations, filter replacements, belt and bearing checks, and advising on additional services. The role offers growth opportunities and a supportive, family-owned environment with a flexible schedule and paid training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year in a service department experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willing to submit and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Deep understanding of automobiles and fast diagnostic abilities.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, and eagerness to improve.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Applying lubricants to moving parts of engines to prevent wear and optimize performance.
• Lubricating wheel bearings to reduce tire wear.
• Performing engine cleanings to prevent rust formation.
• Replacing cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
• Performing tire rotations to ensure even wear.
• Testing tire pressure and adding air as needed.
• Inspecting vehicles for oil leaks during service.
• Recommending additional servicing based on inspections.
• Notifying the Service Advisor of all work performed.
