Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change in Laurel, MS is hiring a Lube Technician to perform oil changes and light maintenance in a quick-serve, car-centric setting. No automotive experience required as training is provided; candidates with a customer-service mindset fit well into our fast-paced, in-car service model.

You'll learn to change oil, replace wiper blades and filters, check tire pressure, and assist customers in selecting services while keeping the shop clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Must maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit used to position yourself safely under cars.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil, change oil filter, grease chassis fittings.
• Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Assist the customer in selecting oil type and other services.
• Process payment for services performed.
• Perform coolant exchanges and transmission drain & fill services.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness.
