Job summary

High Desert Ford in Victorville, CA seeks a dependable Quick Lane Lube Technician to perform oil changes, filter replacements, and multipoint inspections, ensuring fast, accurate service while protecting vehicles.

You will identify additional maintenance needs, operate shop equipment safely, and maintain a clean, safe work area. A valid driver's license and the ability to drive manual transmissions are required; state inspection license is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Approximately one year of experience as a technician assistant, apprentice, or lube technician preferred.
• Ability to drive vehicles with a manual transmission.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• State inspection license preferred, if applicable.
• Commitment to safety, quality, dependability, and customer service.

Responsibilities

High Desert Ford is seeking a dependable Quick Lane Lube Technician to perform oil changes, filter replacements, multipoint inspections, and other routine vehicle-maintenance services. The technician will provide prompt, accurate service while protecting customers' vehicles and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Work is primarily performed in an automotive shop environment.

• Regularly required to stand, sit, bend, reach, communicate, and use hands to operate tools and equipment.
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Must possess the visual ability necessary to safely inspect, service, and operate vehicles and equipment.
