Job summary

Jiffy Lube in California is seeking a Technician to help keep our customers’ vehicles running safely. No experience required; on-the-job training starts tomorrow, and you’ll learn oil changes and basic preventative maintenance.

Work with a friendly team to greet guests professionally, maintain a clean, safe shop, and follow safety procedures while delivering reliable service in San Fernando.

Starting pay is $18–$20 per hour, with opportunities to grow and advance within the company.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Willingness to learn automotive maintenance and safety procedures.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Purpose

As a Jiffy Lube Technician, you’ll help keep our customers’ vehicles running smoothly and safely.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Complete required training and report on time.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
• Greet guests professionally and collaborate with colleagues.
• Perform oil changes and other preventative auto maintenance on customer vehicles.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand on concrete or metal surfaces for extended periods of time.
• Lift and move inventory items, trashcans and other work-related items (up to 50 pounds).
• Must be able to: push, pull, pull up, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands, throughout the shift.
