Jenkins Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Homosassa is seeking a Lube Technician to service vehicles under the guidance of the Service Manager, Team Leader, or ASM. Responsibilities include checking fluids, tires, and filters, performing oil changes, and preparing vehicles for delivery when needed.

The ideal candidate has an unrestricted driver’s license, a clean driving record, at least one year of vehicle servicing experience, and a strong interest in automotive maintenance along with solid

Responsibilities

• Check all fluids and maintenance-related parts; top-off or replace as required.
• Develop broad knowledge of how vehicles' components work and interact.
• Perform routine service inspections, oil/filter changes, lubrication, and major components.
• Move vehicles around the premises as needed.
• Adapt to rapidly changing automotive technologies.
• Perform routine vehicle servicing as directed.

Job description

Job Summary:

The Lube Technician is responsible for servicing vehicles as assigned by the Service Manager, Team Leader, or ASM. The Lube Tech checks the oil, tire pressure and condition, filters, windshield wiper fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid, transmission and differential fluids, and engine coolant. He/She will know how to top off or replace these fluids and maintenance-related parts as required. In addition, the Lube Technician may also be assigned to conduct pre-delivery service on a new and pre-owned vehicles to ensure excellent working order upon delivery to the customer. The ideal Lube Technician has an unrestricted driver's license, clean driving record, a minimum of one year vehicle-servicing experience, an aptitude and interest in vehicle maintenance, and strong analytical and communication skills. In addition, the Lube Technician will be (or be qualified to be) a state-certified inspector.
