Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change Biloxi is seeking a Lube Technician to join a customer‑focused team. Learn to change oil, replace wiper blades and air filters, and perform light maintenance in a fast-paced, stay‑in‑your‑car oil change environment.

No prior oil experience is required—we train you. You will help customers select oil type, check fluids and tire pressure, and keep the shop clean and safe. Must lift up to 50 pounds and be able to work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn service oil changes and basic maintenance tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail/auto service environment.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and learn oil products.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filter.
• Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids; assist customer in selecting oil type and services.
• Process payments for services performed.
• Perform coolant exchanges and transmission drain & fill services.
• Restock inventory and maintain shop cleanliness.

Good to Know Before You Start!

• It might feel like you are studying for a test at the beginning. It’s important that all employees gain a strong knowledge of our oils and services.
• Must maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit used to position yourself safely under cars
• You will walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling and turning
• You may need to work in hot/cold weather conditions
• Always be alert and aware of your surroundings
• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
• Need to have reliable transportation

What does a Lube Technician do?
