Job summary

Community Nissan of Bloomington is seeking a motivated Lube Technician & Automotive Service Support Specialist to join our service team. This multi-role position offers hands-on experience in a dealership setting and a path to advance within the service department.

You will perform routine maintenance, assist with shop operations, and help ensure a smooth customer experience by supporting both technicians and service advisors. On-the-job training and a team-oriented environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Automotive experience preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with customer vehicle check-in procedures
• Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors
• Wash and prepare customer vehicles for delivery/pickup
• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, battery testing, and other basic maintenance services
• Inspect vehicles and report maintenance recommendations to service advisors
• Assist technicians and service staff with general shop support duties
• Assist with shop cleanup, inventory organization, and equipment maintenance
• Support the service drive and customer experience as needed
• Follow all dealership safety and operational procedures
