Job summary

Bottom Line Equipment, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance and light repairs on construction equipment. You will work on hydraulics, power trains and engines, with occasional field mobility and parts handling.

Requirements include a Class B CDL eligibility, a clean driving record, and the ability to read schematics. We offer a strong benefits package and a positive, safety-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–5 years of experience in preventative maintenance and light mechanical repairs on construction equipment.
• Must have a clean driving record and be able to obtain a Class B CDL.
• Able to read hydraulics and electrical schematics; own tools required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, general machine upkeep and light repairs on customer owned machines as directed.
• Repair various construction equipment including hydraulics, powertrain, engines and related systems.
• Assist with loading/unloading and transporting parts and equipment as needed.
• Inspect parts and report defective components to management.
• Follow all safety rules and maintain a professional work environment.

Perform preventative maintenance, general machine upkeep and light repairs on customer owned machines as directed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance general machine upkeep and light repairs on customer owned machines as directed.
• Perform repairs on all types of construction equipment.
• Hydraulics, power train, engines and general machine performance is expected.
• Occasional operation of equipment in the determination of repair need or repair assessment may occur.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or by use of a shop forklift.
• Load/unload trucks picking up or delivering supplies.
• General assembly work that may require operating automated machinery and various power/hand tools.
• Inspect all parts and equipment in order to properly report defective material or questionable component conditions to management.
• Observe and follow all company safety rules and policies.

Education & Experience:

• Candidate must either have or be able to obtain a class B CDL.
• 2-5 years experience in conducting preventative maintenance services and light mechanical repairs on construction equipment.
• Possess a clean driving record.
• Valid Driver's License
• Able to read schematics (both hydraulic and electrical)
• Perform annual certifications and inspections
• Capable of accomplishing task independently without direct supervision
• Computer literate with the ability to process information
• Strong work ethics with a commitment to quality
• A history of safe work habits
• Maintains a great attitude toward work
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must have own hand tools- Full .5 inch drive set and some .75 inch may be required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
