Job summary

Twin City Dealerships seeks a Lube Technician to focus on fluid checks and basic maintenance. You will change oil, inspect filters and belts, check air levels and gauges, and ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.

The role emphasizes accurate diagnostics, prompt repairs, and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance, with benefits supporting personal growth and community involvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Technical degree preferred.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in the service department.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills.
• Ability to identify problems quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of automobiles and comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Test systems and components to ensure they are secure and functioning properly.
• Identify systems or components that may have caused the problem.
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes to verify repairs.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
• Repair or replace worn parts before breakdowns.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and hand tools to perform tasks.

Lube Technician

We are looking for a Lube Technician who will focus on fluid checks and basic maintenance. You will change a vehicle's oil, check the transmission fluid and other fluid levels, inspect various belts and filters, and check air levels and gauges.

Quick Lube Service Technician Responsibilities

• Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly
• Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles
• Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks

Quick Lube Service Technician Requirements

• Ability to identify the problem quickly
• Knowledge of automobiles
• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
• Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment
• High school diploma or GED
• Technical degree preferred
• ASE certifications preferred
• Minimum of 1 year in service department
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
