Job summary

Avondale Nissan, part of Lithia & Driveway, is hiring a Lube Technician. Earn $16.00 - $18.00 per hour DOE with a Monday–Friday 7am–6pm schedule, Saturday 7am–4pm, and Sundays off. This entry-level role offers hands-on training and a fast-track path to becoming a Main Line Technician.

You will diagnose, inspect, and repair vehicles, maintain safety standards, and document results. ASE certs and growth opportunities are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Entry level position needs some automotive experience.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication with teammates and customers.
• Automotive technical knowledge acceptable with training.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs efficiently and accurately per orders and specs.
• Diagnose malfunctions and complete repairs following safety rules.
• Road-test vehicles and document repairs, tests, and labor time.
• Maintain required tools and return dealership tools after use.
• Keep workspace clean and assist with daily stall cleanings.
• Ensure customer vehicles are returned clean and intact.
• Participate in training and stay current with ASE certifications.
• Communicate with staff to support customer satisfaction.
• Report safety concerns that affect the dealership and staff.
