Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an Automotive Technician to perform preventive maintenance on our fleet, including oil changes, fluid services, tire changes, rotations, and basic repairs. You will work on newer vehicles across brands, maintaining safety and quality while learning and growing your automotive skills.

The role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work various shifts on-site.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or prior automotive maintenance experience.
• Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the United States.
• On-site position; cannot be remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance services on our fleet, including oil changes, fluid services, tire changes and rotations, and basic repairs.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards; assist senior technicians as needed.
• Work on a diverse fleet across brands to gain exposure to various systems and technologies.
• Keep vehicles safe and reliable so customers can get on the road with confidence.

WhatYou’llDo:

You will perform preventive maintenance services on our fleet of vehicles, including oil changes, fluid services, tire changes, tire rotations, and basic repairs, all while following safety procedures and quality standards. Depending on your experience, you mayassistsenior technicians or take onadditionalmaintenance tasks as your skills grow.

You will work on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles across multiple manufacturers, giving you exposure to a wide range of systems and technologies. By keeping vehicles properlymaintained, you help reduce downtime, improve vehicle reliability, and ensure customers can get on the road with confidence.

• Flexibility to work all shifts
• Must be able tolift upto 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk,sitand kneelfrequently, enter,exitand drive vehicles
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
• 6 months auto maintenance experience or completion of an automotive technical school program is a bonus
