Novolex is hiring Lift Truck Operators in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Bedford Park, IL. The role focuses on moving materials and finished goods with a pallet jack, while prioritizing safety and accuracy in a high-volume setting.

Compensation ranges from $21.66 to $25.70 per hour, with weekly pay. Shifts run 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, and benefits are provided as described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Experience with lifting and moving materials in a manufacturing/warehouse setting is required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and move heavy loads with a pallet jack.
• Ability to read and interpret job dockets and complete material order forms.
• Flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as needed; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Move and transfer materials and finished goods in a high-volume production environment.
• Maintain accuracy and follow standard processes and procedures.

• Support SAP functions related to inventory and load management (e.g., pick list, PGI).
• Relieve operators for breaks and assist with EPS lines as assigned.
• Perform duties of packing associates as trained and assigned; communicate effectively with internal/external customers.

Compensation: $21.66 - $25.70 an hour - paid weekly

Job Summary:

• Moving and transferring materials and finished goods in a high volume production environment.
• All transferring must be performed with a high degree of accuracy and accountability and in accordance with the established standard processes and procedures.
• All duties performed with focus on safety.
• Follow all Critical Safety Rules, Standards of Conduct, and plant and company practices, procedures, policies, standard work practices, truck and railcar health and safety rules, including the attendance policy.
• Effectively perform all duties as outlined in the Operations Lift Truck Operator standard work.
• Effectively assist with operations on all EPS lines as assigned. Relieve operators for breaks.
• Perform Packers (Packing Associates) and Operator B (Operator Associates) duties as assigned (and as trained to do so).
• Fill in as Operator for breaks or as assigned. Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent customer service to internal and external customers on a daily basis. Assist others in daily assignments.
• Ability to work within a team and build good relationships.
• Ensure that assignments are completed in a timely manner.
• Daily inspection of forklifts.
• Support SAP functions as related to inventory and load management (IE. Pick list, PGI). Perform other tasks as required.
• The job responsibilities in this position description are not all inclusive and it is understood other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Pallet Jack is preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to move heavy loads with a pallet jack.
• Must be able to complete Material Order Forms.
• Need to read and interpret Job Dockets.
• Ability to work independently as well as working with others effectively as a part of a team is essential; Flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as needed.
