Job summary

Parallel Wireless is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design and implement 4G/LTE protocol stack features on Unix/Linux real-time systems. You will contribute across the control‑plane and data‑plane layers (RRC, MAC, RLC, PDCP) and work on high‑performant LTE solutions.

You will collaborate with global teams to deliver robust software in a product development environment, focusing on core engineering, feature implementation, and field issue resolution rather than QA or testing.

Qualifications

• Proven telecom software development experience (LTE/4G, exposure to 5G preferred).
• Strong protocol stack design skills for RRC, MAC, RLC, and PDCP.
• Excellent C/C++ coding skills and Unix/Linux RTOS expertise.
• Experience in product development roles, not QA/testing.
• Effective communication for global cross‑team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop LTE protocol stack features (control-plane and data-plane).
• Work on RRC, LTE-MAC, RLC, and PDCP layers.
• Write, optimize, and debug C/C++ code on Unix/Linux RTOS.
• Analyze and resolve customer-reported and internal issues.
• Bring up LTE test setups and maintain running systems.
• Collaborate with peers to advance LTE/5G knowledge and productivity.
• Contribute to product performance improvements and high-quality deliverables.
