Apploi is seeking a Nurse Educator (RN) to develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff in a long-term care setting. The role includes conducting competency evaluations, overseeing infection control and employee health programs, and coordinating Nurse Aide Certification education where applicable.

The Nurse Educator will lead annual education calendars, provide safety training, and ensure staff proficiency with current best practices.

Qualifications

• RN license from State Board of Nursing.
• Minimum of three years of full-time nursing experience, including at least two years in long-term care.
• Experience teaching adults recommended.

Responsabilités

• Develops and implements educational programs for nursing staff.
• Conducts competency evaluations and annual competency testing.
• Oversees infection control and employee health programs.
• Provides nursing staff education on applying Point Click Care to nursing processes.
• Maintains in-service records for nursing employees.
• Directs implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
• Coordinates and teaches Nurse Aide Certification courses where applicable.
