Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for a travel LTAC position in Jackson, Tennessee. The role requires 1 year of LTAC or equivalent high-acuity experience, a current BLS, and eligibility for state licensure.

You’ll provide direct nursing care, monitor patients, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team on recovery and discharge planning. Responsibilities include assessments, IV therapy, ventilator/wound care, and supervision of LPNs/CNAs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of RN experience in Long-Term Acute Care or similar high-acuity setting.
• Current BLS certification and eligibility for state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Administer IV medications and monitor vital signs and lab results.
• Provide ventilator and wound care and collaborate with the care team.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs and ensure proper patient care delivery.
• Document all care activities in real time and assist with admissions and discharges.
