Job summary

Provident Behavioral Health seeks a PRN LTAC Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, high-acuity nursing care for medically fragile patients in a Long-Term Acute Care setting in Missouri.

You will manage complex conditions including ventilator and tracheostomy care, complex wound care, and IV therapy, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure care continuity and patient education.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure.
• Experience in LTAC/acute care high-acuity settings.
• Proficiency with ventilator/tracheostomy care, wound care, and IV therapy.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-centered care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and monitor clinical status to identify changes and needs.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and deliver skilled nursing interventions.
• Provide specialized respiratory and wound care for complex cases.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate patients and families to support understanding and care continuity.
