Job summary

ContinueCARE Hospital at Hendrick Medical Center in Texas is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a direct-hire, full-time position in a specialized LTAC setting.

You will provide direct nursing care to medically complex patients, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, monitor progress, administer treatments, and educate patients and families while advocating for long-term recovery and adherence to care plans.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• 1+ year of acute care, ICU, or LTAC experience strongly preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS required within 90 days of hire.
• Strong clinical judgment and a compassionate, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill or medically complex patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, administer medications and treatments, and document clinical findings.
• Educate patients and families, and advocate for long-term health and recovery.
• Maintain compliance with all policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines.
