Job summary

The position offers 12-hour shifts (7A-7P and 7P-7A) with full-time, PRN, and weekend options with premium pay. The RN will provide direct care to adults and geriatrics, develop care plans, perform admissions, educate patients, and document care. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and Alabama RN license; minimum two years of critical care experience

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license by the State of Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Plan of care or follow care protocols with attention to patient/family needs.
• Perform admission assessment and document findings.
• Initiate and modify care plan and participate in discharge planning.
• Educate patient and/or family and document education.
• Administer medications and document administration.
• Communicate with health team and document interventions.
• Supervise staff and document appropriately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
