Job summary

ContinueCARE Hospital at Hendrick Medical Center is seeking registered nurses for a direct hire, full-time opportunity in a specialized LTAC setting caring for high-acuity patients recovering from complex medical conditions.

You will provide direct nursing care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, monitor patient progress, educate families, and uphold regulatory standards in a mission-driven hospital culture.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• 1+ year of acute care, ICU, or LTAC experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• Strong clinical judgment and a compassionate, team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to educate patients and families and advocate for recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill or medically complex patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, administer medications and treatments, and document clinical findings.
• Educate patients and families, and serve as an advocate for long-term health and recovery.
• Maintain compliance with all policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines.
