Job summary

The Cenikor Foundation in Farmington, NM is seeking Full Time Licensed Counselors to join our treatment team and support clients on their path to recovery. You will provide licensed counseling and collaborate with a multidisciplinary staff in a compassionate setting.

Applicants must hold LADAC, LPCC, LMSW, or LMFT licensure in NM, adhere to ethics, and be willing to shift work, manage required paperwork, and occasional driving.

Qualifications

• LADAC, LPCC, LMSW, or LMFT licensure in NM
• Adherence to NAADAC Code of Ethics
• Good working knowledge of related referral sources in San Juan County
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
• Ability to maintain cultural sensitivity when working with clients
• Good writing and verbal communication skills
• If recovering, must have at least two (2) years of continuous sobriety

Cenikor Foundation is a non-profit organization and one of the largest substance abuse treatment centers in the nation. Four Winds Recovery Center has recently joined Cenikor Foundation in its mission to serve the community in Farmington by opening a new withdrawal management and detoxification program! We are currently seeking Full Time Licensed Counselors. We accept the following licensures LADAC, LPCC, LMSW, or LMFT. With a $4000 retention bonus.

SCHEDULE:

Tuesday-Saturday 8:00am - 5:00pm

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensure as LSAA, LADAC and LPCC, LMSW, or LMFT in the state of New Mexico
• Adherence to the organizational and NAADAC Code of Ethics
• Good working knowledge of related referral sources in San Juan County.
• Must have a valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to maintain cultural sensitivity when working with clients.
• Good writing and verbal communication skills.
• If recovering, must have at least two (2) years of continuous sobriety.

SPECIAL DEMANDS:

• Must be willing to perform shift work.
• Position requires extensive paperwork and some driving.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:

• Must be willing to attend in-service and community training programs as needed
• Willing to assist in the orientation of new staff members.
• Maintain adherence and compliance with Federal, State, and agency confidentiality regulations.
• Willing to continue the development of counseling skills and increase knowledge as it relates to advancement of addictive diseases and treatment options.
