Job summary

United Trading Group is seeking a LRN Microbiologist II for on-site work in Utah. The role involves processing specimens, performing molecular and bacteriological assays, and handling dangerous pathogens in a BSL-3 setting.

You will validate tests, ensure quality control, maintain instruments, and liaise with Epidemiologists and hospitals. Ideal candidates have CLIA high complexity experience, PCR proficiency, good communication, and must pass a criminal background check.

Qualifications

• MUST meet CLIA high complexity testing personnel qualifications.
• Previous experience in a clinical or research lab.
• Previous experience with Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR).
• Good communication skills.
• Pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Process specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Perform molecular and bacteriological based assays.
• Work with dangerous pathogens within the biosafety level 3 laboratory.
• Assist with test validations.
