Job summary

Phantom Recovery LLC in Omaha, NE is seeking a Camera Car Operator to support its asset recovery operations. You will drive a camera-equipped vehicle, collect license plate data with LPR, and maintain accurate logs of routes, scans, and vehicles located.

You will monitor onboard scanners, identify vehicles of interest, coordinate with recovery agents, and perform routine vehicle inspections while driving under varied conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience in repossession, recovery, or LPR camera operations preferred.
• Valid driver''s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic tech proficiency to operate onboard scanning and GPS software.
• Professional, discreet demeanor in field situations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a camera-equipped vehicle through assigned routes to capture license plate data using LPR technology
• Monitor and manage onboard scanning equipment to ensure optimal performance during shifts
• Identify and flag vehicles of interest based on skip tracing and recovery databases
• Maintain accurate logs of routes driven, scans captured, and vehicles located
• Communicate findings promptly to recovery agents and dispatch teams
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any equipment or vehicle maintenance needs
• Operate safely and professionally in a variety of driving conditions and environments
