Job summary

Healogics is the nation's largest provider of advanced wound care, treating thousands of patients across many sites. We seek an experienced LPN/LVN to join our patient care team under RN direction, delivering wound-related nursing care and assisting in the vein clinic, intake and discharge, and case management as needed.

Applicants must hold a current LPN/LVN license, have 2+ years of nursing experience (including SNF/LTACH), and be BLS certified.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program/state-approved program.
Current LPN/LVN license in state of practice.
Two or more years' experience as LPN/LVN, including 1+ year in SNF or LTACH.
Wound care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide wound-care to patients under RN/provider direction per BLS and hospital protocols.
Assist in vein clinic after Vein Clinic training.
May assist with intake and discharge.
May support case management under RN guidance per state rules.
Gathers patient information and required equipment.
Report quality of care issues to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
Communicate with the care team regarding interventions to ensure quality care.
Perform hyperbaric therapy-related duties after hyperbaric training.
Potentially serve as scribe per policy.
Perform other duties as delegated.
