Maplewood at Strawberry Hill LLC in Norwalk, CT is seeking a part-time LPN Wellness Nurse for 4:30pm-8:30pm shifts on weekends. This role supports the Wellness Department and resident care within a senior living community, ensuring safe medication practices and responsive health monitoring.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse license across appropriate state(s).
• Basic first aid and CPR certification.
• Minimum two years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience.
• Experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising medication program and assist residents with self-administration of medication.
• Maintain positive relations with residents, families and physicians.
• Report significant incidents to supervisory leadership.
• Support resident assessments and service plans.
• Assist with clinical assessments/recertifications per ALSA requirements.
• Assist in hiring and managing performance within the department.
• Provide training and orientation for new associates.
• Attend scheduled in-service programs and staff meetings.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing of Resident Services Assistants.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to RSA staff as needed.
• Support residents and families to ensure high level of satisfaction.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Essential Functions:

Job Duties:

• Assist in supervising the medication program and assist the residents with self-administration of medication.

Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:
