Stamford Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for our Urogyn & Recon Surg practice. The LPN coordinates patient care per practice standards, mentors staff, and serves as a resource to staff and management.

The schedule rotates between Norwalk and Stamford (Mon-Fri 8:00 am – 4:30 pm). Stamford Health offers competitive salary, day-one health insurance, wellness programs, PTO, a retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, free parking, and childcare partnership.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid CT Licensed Practical Nurse license.
• BLS certification.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position preferred.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients, document concerns, accompany to exam room and prepare for exam.
• Obtain and document vital signs; assist with specimens and note abnormalities.
• Assist patients with mobility and daily activities as needed.
• Provide minor treatments and assist with procedures as directed by physician.
• Educate patients and/or family after assessing learning needs.
• Schedule tests and assist with insurance pre-certifications.
• Respond to calls and manage supplies and room readiness.
• Maintain clean and stocked exam/procedure rooms and participate in meetings.
