Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care in New York is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support clinicians in examinations, procedures, injections, and specimen collection. You will help manage patient flow, prepare exam rooms, and assist with routine testing in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The role requires a Practical Nursing diploma and an active LPN license. We offer a competitive hourly wage starting at $26, with 0–25% travel, generous PTO, continuing education, medical benefits, a 401(k)

Qualifications

Prior experience in busy medical office preferred, but not required.
Strong critical thinking skills and excellent customer service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and assist with duties as needed.

Responsibilities

Assists the practitioner with examinations, procedures, and other duties as assigned.
Administers medications and injections.
Collects and prepares specimens for laboratory and assists in managing results.
Efficiently manages patient flow through the office.
Prepares exam rooms, maintains equipment, and stocks supplies.
Responsible for patient call backs and attendance at required training.
Assists with other assigned duties as needed.
0-25% travel requirements.
