Nash UNC Health Care in North Carolina seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for a Skilled Nursing Facility. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care, medication administration, and patient education to support a safe and effective discharge plan.

Qualified applicants will have an accredited LPN program, NC LPN license, and BCLS. No prior experience required. This is a full-time, onsite position with 40 hours per week, day shift, at Nash Hospitals.

Responsabilidades

• Contributes to development and maintenance of a current, goal-oriented plan of care and consults with other health professionals.
• Observes, assesses, documents, reports patient responses to treatments and adjusts care as needed.
• Participates in unit, service, and department enrichment activities and CQI groups.
• Provides a broad range of treatments and therapies, medication administration, and monitoring of devices.
• Assists patients and families during admission, orientation, and discharge.
• Verbally de-escalates frightened or potentially aggressive patients and supports coping strategies.
