Job summary

The Plaza Health and Rehabilitation Center in Gainesville, FL seeks an LPN Unit Manager to oversee daily nursing operations within a skilled nursing facility. You will supervise LPNs and CNAs, coordinate resident care, and ensure regulatory compliance while promoting a safe, resident-centered environment.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills, with commitment to high-quality care for short-term rehab and long-term residents.

Qualifications

• Active Florida LPN license.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation.
• Supervisory or unit management experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification as required by facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily nursing operations and supervise nursing staff within the unit.
• Coordinate resident care, participate in care planning and interdisciplinary conferences.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with Florida regulations and facility policies.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and ongoing care coordination.
