Job summary

Lincoln Park Nursing and Rehab seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled bedside care to residents in Brown Deer, WI. The role emphasizes compassionate, professional nursing, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and nursing staff.

Responsibilities include monitoring conditions, assisting with procedures, administering meds, maintaining charts, ensuring hygiene and safety, and training nursing assistants; 1–2 years' experience preferred; WI license required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients; perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts
• Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders; inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety
• Provide instant medical care in emergencies; supervise and train the nursing assistants
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
• Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.
