Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Current Indiana LPN license.
• CPR certified.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Highly organized with exceptional time management skills.
• Proficient with computers and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to RNs, LPNs, QMAs, and CNAs.
• Deliver and oversee high-quality, resident-centered nursing care.
• Monitor resident conditions and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee development.
• Promote compliance with state, federal, and company policies and standards.
• Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and maximize staffing resources.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling requests and staffing concerns.
• Communicate with department leaders to resolve scheduling conflicts promptly.
• Adjust staffing based on census, call-offs, acuity, and operational needs.
• Prepare and post employee schedules, ensuring consistency and fairness.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, overtime, and payroll-related timekeeping.
• Assist with PBJ reporting and other staffing-related reporting.
