Wilmington Treatment Center in Wilmington, NC seeks a Substance Use Disorder Treatment LPN to join our team. New Graduate LPNs are welcome to apply and will support detox, rehab, residential and IOP programs.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient health, providing basic nursing care, and collaborating with the care team to meet individual needs while maintaining patient safety and high-quality documentation.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and an unrestricted LPN license in the state of employment.
  • At least one year of nursing experience; behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance use treatment preferred.
  • Current CPR certification and willingness to complete de‑escalation training.
  • First Aid certification as required by guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor patient health and administer basic care within the LPN/LVN scope.
  • Model customer service and ensure patient safety with a sense of urgency.
  • Collaborate to meet biopsychosocial needs and address complaints.
  • Provide basic comfort and implement care plans tailored to patient needs.
  • Progress patients toward wellness and maintenance of health.

Wilmington Treatment Center is seeking a full-time Substance Use Disorder Treatment LPN to join the team in Wilmington, NC

Wilmington Treatment Center is North Carolina's premier addiction rehab center and recovery hospital. We offer a complete continuum of care for detox, rehab services, residential, partial hospitalization and an intensive outpatient programming (IOP) to help our patient reach their goals.

Shift Availability

Part-time / NGHT Shift: 6:30p.m. - 7:00a.m. (2-12 hour shifts w/weekend rotation)

Hourly Rates:

(calculated based off years of nursing experience)

$30 - $32/hour

Shift Diffs

From $3 - $6 depending on weekends/nights

What You'll Do
  • Monitor patient health and administer basic care utilizing the nursing process within the LPN/LVN scope of practice in carrying out care plan objectives and goals.
  • Role model expectations related to customer service and demonstrates a sense of urgency related to the importance of patient safety.
  • Collaborate with others to ensure that patients’ physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental and cultural needs are met and when they are not met, acknowledges and works to resolve customer complaints.
  • Provide for the basic comfort of patient, implement nursing interventions identified in the plan of care that is individualized to their needs.
  • Apply appropriate interventions to progress the patient towards wellness and address maintenance of wellness.
What You Bring
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current, unrestricted LPN license (or eligibility to practice) in the state of employment.
  • At least one year of nursing experience; behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance use treatment experience strongly preferred.
  • Current CPR certification and willingness to complete de‑escalation and restraint training (provided upon hire, if needed).
  • First Aid certification, as required by state or facility guidelines.
  • Strong clinical judgment, attention to documentation, and the ability to remain calm and therapeutic in behavioral health settings.
