Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a licensed practical nurse for travel assignment in Portland, ME. The LPN - Skilled Rehab will provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision in LTAC settings.

Position offers $2,222 per week, 36 hours, with benefits and the chance to work with a diverse patient population across healthcare facilities.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active nursing license for the practicing state.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience in a long term acute care facility preferred.
• CPR certification if applicable; TB screening or equivalent may be required.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
• Provide care to medically complex patients in facilities or LTACs.

The Long-Term Acute Care LPN provides the delivery of directand indirect patient care to medically complex patients under the clinicalsupervision of the Registered Nurse in facilities or specialty care hospitals.

Minimum Requirements

• Current nursing license for the state in which the nursepractices in
• One (1) year nursing experience in a long term acute carefacility preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
