Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in Holtsville, NY is seeking an LPN Supervisor to oversee a care team in the Wellness/Resident Services Center, guiding ADLs and medication administration with compassion and clinical skill.

You will serve as shift supervisor when the Director is away, uphold policies, and ensure safety and quality of life for residents; active LPN and CPR required; associates degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home or similar environment
• Active LPN license and CPR certification
• Experience with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus
• Caring, reliable and observant with an understanding of MARs and doctors' orders
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated LPN Supervisor to oversee, mentor and nurture a team of nurses, HHA's, resident care aides and medication technicians in the busy Wellness/Resident Services Center of our luxury assisted living community. Acting as the shift supervisor in the absence of the Director, you will provide caring and attentive help to residents in managing their activities of daily living (ADLs) as well as in the administration of their medications - all while leading the team in caring for residents with skill and genuine kindness. Your role is essential to the care and safety of residents who choose to call The Bristal home. The loving care and professionalism you bring to the services you provide are fundamental to the quality of life and the general wellbeing of our residents every day.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Following all policies and procedures, and adhering to the instructions ofthe Director of Wellness
• Must have staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home or similar environment
• You must have an active LPN certification and be driven by a genuine desire to improve the quality of life of our residents
• Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus
