Job summary

Responsibilities

• Directs the daily activities of certified nursing assistants.
• Ensures policy compliance by nursing staff.
• Participates in admissions, discharges and transfers of residents.
• Observes changes in residents' status and notifies physician/family.
• Transcribes physician orders and administers medications.
• Performs wound treatments per orders and documents.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and transportation as needed.
• Provides nursing leadership to staff on the unit.
