Job summary

General Function: Assists the surgical team during Operative procedures to provide quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assists in preparing the Operating Room or Endoscopy suite with necessary equipment, supplies, suture. Provide care to infants, children, adolescent’s adults and geriatric patients.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

• Educational Requirements:
  • High School Education
  • Maintains valid Louisiana LPN license (if applicable)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Experience Requirements:
  • Surgical Technician/GI lab Technician certified or comparable training/experience preferred
  • Accredited school or 1year surgical scrub/GI lab experience preferred
