Job Description

Responsibilities: Under supervision from project managers, this position is responsible for scheduling and overseeing the retrieval, review, and abstraction of medical record data performed by team members in their regional team. Responsibilities include setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring progress, and preparing weekly reports for upper management. The role involves tracking project progress, communicating status, resolving issues, managing project quality, and overseeing regional team schedules, attendance, and productivity. The person will facilitate project communications and work with the project manager to complete deliverables. Professional conduct, efficient use of time and resources, computer proficiency, and reliable transportation are required. Experience with electronic data transfer is preferred.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Must have an active LPN or RN license in Tennessee or a compact state. Experience with HEDIS or supplemental data project abstraction is preferred but not required. Medical record review experience is necessary. Some travel may be involved. Ability to work independently or in a team, with excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills, especially in Windows and Excel, is required. Successful completion of the training program and maintaining performance goals are also required.
