Job summary

NHC HealthCare Columbia in Columbia, Tennessee, is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our day shift nursing team. As an RN or LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care, monitor residents, and support positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Current RN or LPN license in Tennessee or a multistate/compact license permitting practice in Tennessee.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current CPR certification as required.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and established nursing standards.
  • Assess patient and resident needs and monitor changes in condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered and within the scope of practice.
  • Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
  • Communicate changes in condition to physicians, nursing leadership, and appropriate care team members.
  • Supervise and support nursing assistants and other assigned nursing staff as appropriate.
  • Assist with development and implementation of individualized plans of care.
  • Maintain compliance with regulations, NHC policies, and professional nursing standards.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and compassionate care environment.

As an RN or LPN, you will play an important role in providing high-quality nursing care and supporting positive outcomes for our patients and residents.

Position Responsibilities
