Vitruvian Health in Georgia seeks an experienced nurse leader to direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing our nursing center.
Requires a Nursing Degree (or approved LPN program), an active Georgia LPN or RN license, and BLS CPR; nursing administration experience is preferred. Reports to the Director of Nursing Services and collaborates with the Administrator to deliver high-quality care.

Directs nursing care for the patients, and supervises the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision should be in accordance with current federal, state, and local and regulations governing our nursing center, and as may be directed by the Administrator, the Medical Director, and/or the Director of Nursing Services to provide the appropriate care for our patients.
Non-exempt Status: May be required to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary. Subject to callback during any emergency.
Reports to Director of Nursing Services.
Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or is a graduate of an approved LPN program required as evidenced by primary source of verification.
Current LPN or RN License in the State of Georgia. American Heart Association BLS CPR required.
Preferred experience in nursing administration.

Talking: Necessary for communicating with patients and other aides. Hearing: Necessary for taking instructions from others and while performing physical assessments. Sight: Necessary for doing job correctly and effectively. Tasting & Smelling: Smelling is required for accurate maintenance and detection of wounds, urinary tract problems, etc.
Tasks assigned to position may involve potential and/or direct exposure to blood, body fluids, infectious disease, air contaminants and hazardous chemicals. May be subject to hostile and emotionally upset patients, family members, associates and visitors.
In this position, the associate must be able to tolerate a high pace that is typical for a nursing center. Must be able to take and give instructions well and enjoy working with the elderly. Although associate is able to sit when charting medical information, must be able to tolerate prolonged standing and walking.
