Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Alabama.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced certifications may be required based on departmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with Respiratory Therapists and physicians.
• Administer prescribed respiratory treatments and assist with pulmonary care.
• Coordinate respiratory equipment and supplies and respond to patient care needs in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Education

Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program

Current LPN license in Alabama

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
