Elderwood Village at Colonie in Latham, NY seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as a Resident Care Supervisor. You will oversee medication administration, supervise aides, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure safe, high-quality care for residents in a 94-bed assisted living setting.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure in NY required.
• Geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise staff and ensure high standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise/ administer medications for residents; monitor self-medication program.
• Oversee Resident Assistants and direct care staff."
• Report changes in resident condition to the Director of Nursing.
• Maintain care documentation in MARs and notes.
• Ensure proper handling of controlled substances and med storage.
